Garden invaders

Passalong Plants

Found an article in my email box this morning, sent by Lee Valley & Veritas.
The Bold and the Beautiful was written by Gina Dobrodzicka, a master gardener.
Most gardener will relate with her. I have a few of ‘audacious charmers’ in my own garden.

Number one on my list is Campanula rapunculoides.
You might know better by its common name creeping Bellflower.
I accepted this passalong plant to fill in empty space. Now they pop up even in the cracks of my stone steps.
I have a few more invaders who are nearly impossible to eradicate. So before you start accepting all those lovely passalong plants or give in to the urge of buying several of one plant, read the article.
